POETRY EXTRAVAGANZA: MAY 11
At Aunt T’s Coffee Shop in Libby at 6 p.m. with Montana’s Poet Laureate Earl Craig and poet Adrian Kien, which will include a reading and Q&A session. Afterward, find out the winners of the 11th Annual Lincoln County Poetry Contest. Winning poems will be read and prizes awarded. An open mic session will follow, so bring your poems, guitar, drums, singing voice, etc. Food and drinks will be available for purchase from Aunt T’s Coffee Shop.

WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT: MAY 27-29
In recognition of the sacrifice of America’s service members, Kootenai Country Montana is hosting the inaugural Wounded Warrior Weekend, May 27-29 in Libby, Montana. The weekend-long event will include a scenic off-road ride through scenic Kootenai Country Montana, a parade through downtown Libby featuring a veterans’ march of honor, a barbecue and live music at the Libby VFW Club, and attendance at Libby’s annual Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremony at Riverfront Park.
